I Left My Heart

"I'm proud to have been a Yankee. But I have found more happiness and contentment since I came back home to San Francisco than any man has a right to deserve. This is the friendliest city in the world." ~~ Joe DiMaggio, at his 50th b/day party.

  3. Neither have I seen this landmark before. So that's what it is, Colt Tower! Interesting.

  4. I love San Francisco. I was in college at Stanford and had a boyfriend at Berkeley (this is a no-no in itself) so we often met half way and I spent a lot of time climbing the hills and eating great Chinese food. I miss the place. One year Stanford managed to hang a Beat Cal banner on Coit tower. It was quite a coup. I wasn't involved.
Thanks for viewing my photos on aminus3 and the complement.
