200 Miles Away From Home

That is what their visitor's guide say about Plumas County. I agree, but both visits I only came to see the leaves. It is relaxing out here though. Worth the long drive.
Another bonus in day trips like this one is finding a good place to stop and get a bite. This one at Graeagle is a combination candy store and deli. Every thing they sell is made in that store with the exception of the bagels and croissants. The owner and/or store clerk is very friendly. So are the other diners.
