McKay Mansion

The Mckay Mansion was built in 1859 by George Hearst and the former residence of Comstock king John Mckay. It is now a National Historic Landmark. Tours are available, so are weddings and parties for up to 500 people.

  5. Perfect. As soon as I saw the pic, I knew that's where I want to get married. Finally! Now that I have the location, I can move forward and look for my groom LOL (the easy part, right?)

  6. that's a snazzy building... you could do laps on those verandahs to keep in shape...

    it surely was a mansion in those days and probably held many a soiree..
