First Presbyterian Church - built in 1867, it is one of the few buildings built before the Great Fire that still stands today.

This historic church building at 196 South C Street was dedicated on Sunday, 30 December 1866. A detailed description of the dedication ceremony was published in the Territorial Enterprise the following Tuesday, 1 January 1867.

The sanctuary is listed #301 on the American Presbyterian and Reformed Historic Sites and is one of only a few public buildings that survived the great fire of October 1875, when over 80% of Virginia City burned to the ground.
