More Miles To Go

...before I reach home. But I don't mind one bit. I am enjoying the drive, drinking in the beauty that is Yosemite, and taking in as much of this peaceful surroundings as I can.

In the meantime, I know my two loyal readers/visitors are sick and tired of fall colors and are just too polite to shake me senseless and yell: STOP THE MADNESS! SHOW SOMETHING ELSE. I get the it. So, I may or may not post more fall colors in the coming days; however, I should start with some random shots starting tomorrow.

For now this is it for fall colors. Thank you for bearing with me and my love of fall colors.

  1. Fall colors are almost always a delightful sight and are special for those who are shut in or exposed to sun on snow. Here where I live, in Southwest Ohio, fall is almost always a special time of year for the fall leaf color but this year was different. We had a drought last year and this year our weather was just plain funky and that results in some funky leaf colors. So none from me this year. LOL

I do like your fall leaf colors, especially this one where the understory trees are way ahead of everything else. Nice shot. I also liked the post yesterday.

  4. Thank you for stopping by my blog and looking at my 'fall shots'. I like yours too, especially the bridge on down on an earlier post. I like to see what beauty lurks in other parts of the US. Blogging is such a great way to do that.

  9. Actually, I don't mind one bit at all. In Asia, we mostly have one season throughout the year. Therefore, I find your blog informational and interesting to read. I certainly can appreciate your beautiful photos/entries! ;)

  10. How can I complain of your fall colors when I have had a hard enough time posting anything else myself.

BTW, that sure is an appealing scene you show us today.

  11. The fall colors are always appealing. In this shot I like the gentle curve of the road and the mild colors. A fine image.

  14. I LOVE fall colors, and I really don't think a lot of people would be tired of them. I have only yellow here. It's a beautiful yellow, but that's it. (Ok, I hve a tree in my yard that turns sort of burgundy, but the tree is less than 15 feet tall, and there's only one. Anything other than yellow is usually small, and only one in any given area.) I love this post, and the last, one, and the BROWN before it. It reminds me of my life before the desert where we had trees like that.

In this one, the road makes it even better.
