It's Skywatch time again. And this week it also coincides with my day dreaming time. So here's my dream:
I want to live in my own island, something like the one pictured, where I could grow my own organic vegetables, tend to my goats, and chicken, and turkeys and where I could step out of my porch and fish for my supper.
After the chores are done, it's always a perfect time to skywatch.
Thank you everyone for visiting my skywatch entries every week. I truly appreciate it.
Keep on skywatching!!!!

... and basically just disappear from all the ridiculousness of the world around us... Imagine... no stock market concerns. No worries about economy, about much of anything. Terrific photograph!
I like the wonderful shades of blues in the distance ... A very nice composition. My SWF will be up Friday.

Looks really a nice place to visit! I wish I can check this place somehow:) My SWF is posted HERE. Happy Sky Watching!~
Your dream sounds great to me. I love the idea of living on my own island too. Such an enticing shot and dream.
This island at first glance does not look large enough for your dream, but on closer inspection it looks like they might be living your dream.
Oh that is beautiful! What a great Skywatch post!
Cheers, Klaus
I'd like to live on an island but I'll miss my relatives and friends. Great post. Thanks for visiting and have a great weekend!

Dreaming island owner. Good.

Sorry. You commented on post before I had posted Sky Watch. My fault.
You are welcome. Come back and comment, please.
It sounds very delightful, your little island with organic vegetables. Would you have wireless on this island?

Mine's Here
A beautiful picture. A dream Island; and dreams can come true, dreaming is beautiful. Dreams are the hope of the sensible ones.
Beautiful. And it would be fun to live on an island and be self-sustained. Very appealing. The sky above your island is particularly beautiful. Thanks for a great share.
Each wo/man needs an island! ;-)
Beautiful photo, hope your dream will come true some day!
This is so perfect! Just gorgeous!
A great dream to have - I wouldn't mind that either.
Love the misty mystical mountains.
Sounds like a plan - an island paradise doesn't have to be tropical!
Pretty photo full of all shades of blue, lovely view of the horizon that you are sharing with us all.
Thanks for your kind comments on my post.
I love your picture; the clouds have a mood about them that is nice. As for the island, I daydream the same thing with everything but the turkeys and fishing. So funny that there are so many people like that in blogland. It must be made for introverts!
What a magical place.... but i think the goats would have to be of the mountain variety - it looks very rocky!!!
Friend, this is what sailboats are for! Well, you can get organic veggies on the way.... Fabulous photo. I share your sense of awe at a place like this. Wonderful post.
It looks like a painting. Beautiful!
Lovely photograph of a beautiful island. I like your dreams, I would love to live on that island also. Happy SkyWatch Friday.
Very cool view of island and sky!
That's a pretty one!
Very pretty!
Somedays I think that would be the perfect place to live also .... but I'd HAVE to have the net!
what a wonderful shot. i love how the mountains/islands in the background got lost in the hues of blues. great job.
Beautiful photo for SWF. A little island in the middle of the sea. Would be nice to own one...lol Have a nice weekend.
pagrelated sa sky..panalo talaga mga pics mo...i luv this one!
Would be good to live on an island and be away from everything once in a while :)
Happy Skywatch!

I don't if I like more your great photo or your "dream" :-). Thank you very much for your visit.
What a pretty photo. I love the layers of color shades on the mountains in the background -- and yes, the little island looks inviting.
Beautiful picture and dream.
This shot is so beautiful! I just love it!
Have a very nice weekend:)
Solitude is beauty!!! Love everything in this photo...
Hey, I wonder if you received the postcard na? hmmm....Have a fun filled weekend!
hi. drop by to read the articles and enjoy the photos.
just my kind of dream...can i be your neighbor in this island?:D
been there, done that...
...but not in such dramatic surroundings.
Believe me, on that island, goats would be a problem.
If that's what you call ordinary, then I sure enjoy ordinary. Can I come and help you milk the goats and alternate in fishing for supper?
The multi layers of mountainous skyline and horizon looks like a perfect place to dream from. A beautiful skywatch contribution!
One to make you go dreaming. Nice depth in this shot too. :)
I NEED TO GET TO ALASKA!!! OR VANCOUVER!! I love your shot. Thanks for sharing and have a great weekend!
Maybe...I would try..... But I'm not sure it would stay a dream for long term!
Your island, and its surroundings, are grandiose.
What a wonderfull green island in that blue world!
I´m not sure if that island is fit for farming but it´s fun to dream about it. I bet skywatching would be great all the time.
That's awesome.
i love your skywatch! i love the island so much! Very Solitary. And I hope your dream would come true! It's a very good dream!
Thanks so much for your kind comment! I really appreciate it. It made my day^^

Wouldn't you want to share it with someone? I'd like to live by the sea, but not sure on an island though. Think I'd feel too isolated & wouldn't get any visitors.
This is very beautiful.
Skywatching in the evening is a wonderful form of rest and recreation! I agree with you. Thanks for being a part of it.
I've been reading about alaska a lot lately through Jon Krauker's books. I do hope I could visit the place someday.
That's a great photo, very dramatic. I think we all feel the need to be able to escape to our own island sometimes! I certainly know exactly what you mean :)
