Sky Watch #23

IMG_0004, originally uploaded by airam94564.

For this week's meme, I am again pulling one out of my magic archives hat. This is taken earlier this year at Grizzly Island Wildlife Area in Suisun City, some 25 miles away. We have heard about the good fishing that can be had there and the variety of wildlife to be seen. We saw some birds, walked some trail including this one that led to a wooden bridge where one can view the wide open spaces. I did not see anything really "wild" but we plan to go back again since it's close enough.

I also chose this one for the season of advent. I think my caption for the picture would be: Tis the season of hopeful expectation and patient waiting.

There are tons of great sky pictures from participants all over the world. Check out the Sky Watch page.

Our weather today is a standard weather type pattern, but not usually at this time of year. It was fun.
