Photo Hunt #22: Hope

Photo Hunt #22: Hope, originally uploaded by airam94564.

I hope there is still hope left for all those who lost their hopes and dreams in the past year.

New year brings new beginnings and hopefully a brand new set of hopes.

Happy New Year.

That's a good idea for the theme. I am also hopeful and feel so bad for those who have lost their homes and jobs. There is hope with a lot of changes ahead which will hopefully be very good ones for everyone.

Nice take on the theme. So many dashed hopes out there. I hope that we are on an upswing now. Happy New Year to you.

I hope those people are selling because they have been transferred and not because of lost hopes.

Good idea for the theme.

Happy Weekend.

True. I sure hope that the family who's selling this house would be able to start anew somewhere with the money they'll get from its sale.

I hope that people have not lost hope even if they lost much (else) in 2008.

A clever idea :P
Hope of home owners do hang on hopes in selling their homes, especially at times of financial difficulties currently.

Challenges in life can make us sad and feel disappointed but as long as there is a glimmer of hope, things can still improve for the better.

The realtor sign is ironic in a way. Especially if it is a case of "has to sell". Hope against hope, or real Hope?

Def: hope against hope, to continue to hope, although the outlook does not warrant it

Def: Hope. The theological virtue defined as the desire and search for a future good, difficult but not impossible to attain with God's help.

and just for good measure:

Def: hope, to look forward to with desire and reasonable confidence.

I find your picture a great comment on the times that has come about the last few months.

A great take on HOPE. I know of a few people that have been hoping for the house to sell for a long time. I feel so sorry for the stress they are all going through. Your picture reminded me that I truly need to do some more praying for these friends. Thank you!!
