Photo Hunt #27: Bridge(s)

This week's theme is a no brainer for me. I live in the Bay Area where we have about 6 major bridges that people take for commuting. The question is which bridge. I thought that too was a no brainer. So, here's a bridge that's been considered one of the best and most beautiful in the world

Golden Gate Bridge at sunset as viewed from Berkeley Marina.
Golden Gate bathing in sunset glow as viewed from Marine Headlands.

Sailboats about to cross under the bridge in twilight as viewed from Fort Baker pier.

The bridge looms large as husband snapped this from a boat on the way back from a fishing trip in the Farallon Islands.

These are truly breath-taking photos. You are so lucky to live in the Bay Area (right up there with Venice as one of the most beautiful places in the world, in my opinion).

Wonderful post! Happy weekend.

Those are beautiful pics of the most famous bridge in the world. I've been wanting to get out and photograph that bridge myself! Thanks for stopping by my SWF shot. Yours are terrific! Hi from a fellow Bay Arean!

From the first sight, it's really looked like our Penang Bridge which joined the island and the mainland. :)

These are such wonderful shots. I love the way you showed us the bridge in different light. My brother has lived in San Francisco a long time (he lives in Mill Valley now but used to live in the city). I wish I could afford to get to the west coast more often and visit him.

Even I, living in Norway, commenced my Bridge(s) post with - you know--

But the other Bridges may be not that know but one of them.
