Sky Watch #32

Continuing on, we stopped by Inspiration Point for this view that's been photographed milion of times before, always during the summertime. Rainclouds hung heavy as rain continued to fall while I took this shot from inside a parked car. That impressive monolith on the left is the world famous Half Dome and the falls to the right is Bridalveil Falls.

  12. It looks like the sky was falling directly in front of you. And just those mountains were able to keep it from touching the ground.
    Amazing, gorgeous atmosphere and drama.
    I really like keeping up with your travel photos:-) Your journey must have been an experience.

  16. We took a family picture in that very spot in about 1980.
    I like the dark clouds and moody atmosphere. But of course, Yosemite is always beautiful.
