Yosemite Falls

This is Yosemite Falls, one of the most visited and most recognizable spots in Yosemite. In spring when the snow has melted in the Sierras, visitors are treated to a thunderous waterfall. It is amazing.

Anyone spotted the lone hiker in this waist high grassy meadow? It was raining when I snapped this.

  2. Jose, it's only a minor tweaking. I only clarified it a bit. It was too misty I thought.

  7. When we went to Yosemite last year, Yosemite Falls was bone dry.
We still had fun though. There is so much that Yosemite National Park has to offer we always try to make it there every couple of years or so.

  8. A fine view of this famous waterfall. I like the color and mood of the shot in the rain. Glad you pointed out the hiker...I had missed him until I read your comment.
