That's the bed o a rich man (or woman). We have our own version of four-poster bed here in the Philippines which antique collectors call as "Ah Tay".

if all the bed will be as big as that, i wonder how the houses will look like there.but ive seen some old beds here in the philippines with a cover but not as big as this one. good that they preserved it.
I presume historic rulers have used this precious relic from the past. Great that they preserved it :)
