Sky Watch #49

IMG_0876, originally uploaded by M'roy.

It was blue skies all throughout our brief stay in New York. Blue skies, hot temps, and a little humidity.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but my understanding is this is the city hall. Still running NY series.

A fine shot of this massive building. I guess I would expect New York's city hall to require lots of space.
Nice one.

Sure is a tall building! The sky looks so blue that it doesn't look very humid. Come to Ontario and I'll show you humid. LOL (Hazy, hazy skies.)

I love the way you shot this. Such a spectacular shot. I know from my sister as well as NY bloggers they've had a lot of rain so good that the skies were blue for you.

Lovely picture! Not sure if I prefer the sky or the building either, but the combination is superb!

Hello again!
Answering your question:
I really don't know what it is, the funny thing I have on my shots! :))
I call it the watch tower, beacause you can walk inside, up some stairs and watch the view from there. I have only been there once, by accident really!

Marvellous shot - it takes the eye up and up and up!

NYC is full of beautiful old buildings like this one - you did a wonderful job on this photo. When we there in May, the sky was much grayer.

Hi Photo Cache,
That's actually the Manhattan Municipal Building from where many of the city agencies operate. Mayor Bloomberg's City Hall is the building behind the spot where you took the photo.
