Sky Watch #55

IMG_0019, originally uploaded by M'roy.

It was this sight that kept us company while driving the last miles to the campsite in June. Little did we know that the dark clouds would turn into downpour that night, soaking our campsite.

Somewhere near Redding, CA.

SKYWATCH is a weekly gathering of sky lovers and sky watchers. Please visit the site to see more sky related images or to join this meme.

Sorry about the washout... sure was beautiful though!!!

Blue skies aren't SO bad, I suppose... but don't the clouds add so much more????

This is a beautiful cloud formation! Wouldn't it be an adventure on a wet campsite?
P.S. No traffic because it was still early to get off work. Wait till 5 and it will be packed. I have an early shift.

Camping in the rain gets old after a while. You do get to see some nice clouds and the rain and mist can make some nice photographs.
