Art

Inside the library, works of art are scattered everywhere. The marker says: Demetrius Phalereus (350-280 BC). The inspirer of the foundation of the Ancient Library.

Here are more works of art I noticed inside the library. Enjoy

This one is designed like a flowing, hanging curtain. Very pretty.

  9. The pieces in the second and third photos are wonderful. The first one reminds me of the story of the old Alexandria bibliotheque and a movie I recently watched: The Agora.

  13. I love that last one! Although I used to teach art appreciation, I'm not sure I would enjoy talking about those pieces before the last one if not for an intellectual purpose.
