2010: A Pictorial Look Back

When 2009 was ending, I braced myself for a "let-down" of a new year. Why? Because 2009 was the dream year - big dreams came true for me in 2009. Hence, I did not have any expectations at all, I thought I'd ride the afterglow of 2009 all through 2010. But 2010 was especial in its own way. Let me show you some of the things I did in 2010 are as follows:

coastal cleanup 043
I finally participated in Coastal Clean Up program.

Visiting a cave with a pool inside was pretty awesome too.

I was pretty psyched when I heard there was a food truck festival in Oakland, already on its second year, and that Filipino food was on display. I cannot wait for the 2011 version.

Before the year ended, I thought I'd visit a castle in my own home state.

2010 was the year of day trips and small get-aways. Getting to know about Northern California better.

Visited a mission - which makes my total California Missions visited to 9. In 2004, I took upon myself to visit all of the 21 missions. It's been a slow process to visit all of them, but adding another one this year was a step in the right direction.

I was one of the million people who celebrated the long awaited WORLD SERIES championship of my favorite team, SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS.

And I can't think of anything better that happened in 2010 than the arrival of our wonderful pets, Buster and Emma, both adopted from the shelter.

Thanks for sharing my adventures this year.

  14. Besides Astrid and myself, I don't know of anyone who packs more into a year than you, Maria! If you do half as much in 2011 as you did in 2010, you'll have a very full year! At least in the blogosphere.
