Nevada City, CA

Twenty-eight miles north of Auburn lies the old goldmining town of Nevada City. The city consists all of 2.1 sq mi - packed with shopping, eating, and pretty as a button architecture. It's a perfect day trip destination.

  2. What a charming place...I love the little blue building on the slope! My camera and I could have a wonderful day there, indeed...I suspect there are many places to stop for tea and watch the world go by...:)
