One of the activities I enjoy during sea day is sit on the deck while skywatching, no matter what time of day one finds interesting cloudscapes. I never leave my cabin without the camera. I'm afraid I'd missed something worth capturing.
Sometimes you get lucky and get a sunset that's really stunning. When that happens I'm sure you all understand why I took about 100 shots of this jawdropping sky show at twilight.

it's fantastic to watch how clouds change from time to time. they decorate the sky beautifully either in surise or just before dusk. and definitely a plus if you could watch it on a cruise!

Even cloud watching is really a fascinating hobby! I am at the west side of the condominium building and i learn that sunsets are like finger prints, they even change so fast in 15 min. No two sunsets are the same! I am waiting for the posts about your destinations.

You're right -- that sunset is spectacular and I probably wouldn't have stopped at 100 pictures. But the pictures of the blue skies are also beautiful.

Nothing like being on the open seas during a spectacular sunset. I for one am chicken to get on a ship, but it is on my bucket list. Enjoy yourself!

i love the second one! i can't swim too. i'm not sure if i'd love a cruise. i don't like boat rides. they make me sea sick. when i went to guimaras, i wanted to die when we went island hopping. ack!

the last 3 photos are my favorite. i remember stunning sunsets and sunrises while on board ships when i was younger. despite the sea disasters here, i miss the Negros Navigation trips we took, feeling bakasyonista ka talaga sa barko.:p
