What I Did on the First Day of Autumn

It was a Sunday and it had been over a month since we got together with friends. Friends with kids are always busy shuttling their kids from one activity to another. And so when their kid's soccer game was held at home, we were there ready to rah-rah-rah in the home team's behalf. It was a beautiful first day of Autumn and what a lovely day to be watching my first soccer game.

We were welcomed by the friends' 5-year-old who showed his soccer know-how.

The home team (blue) won that day and here are some of the shots I took (naturally, I brought my camera).

Happy faces after the win. The league is for girls 13 years and under.

When the game was over, the hubs and I had to run an errand in Oakland.

Naturally we found ourselves driving to Chinatown. No pictures after this because you know, our hands were busy with eating.

  8. I like the action shots, especially the one of the ball (I assume) that just bounced off the young boy’s head. Seeing all this activity would certainly make me hungry, too. :)
