Mendocino Coast Botanical Garden 3

I wasn't aware that the garden borders the ocean so it was extra nice to see the water while visiting the garden.

I was caught shooting.

I was caught shooting this.

And this too.

Who leaves the cart here?

At one point, the fog was so thick you could hardly see the ocean.

Something captivated the hubby.

These pretty little blooms caught my eyes/lens too.

Then there was the fisherman. Did he come through the entrance, or was there another way in through the back door.

The husband, the fisherman and the cart.

The sky cleared enough as we were leaving.

OUR WORLD TUESDAY.

  1. The coastal botanical garden is gorgeous. I thought someone left a wagon at the NC Art Park and also debated about whether it was part of the art because the art was fanciful with chairs in trees. But a family with a kid ended up picking up the wagon when they left so I guess they just parked it for a while. Maybe that's what happened at the botanical garden here. Perhaps it was picked up after you left.

  2. Both my husband and I looked at your photos and reminisced. We visited this garden in the spring a couple years ago on a trip up the coast toward OR. The pink ice plants are lovely. They were there in the spring, too. Wonderful photos!

  4. That is so gorgeous -- breathtaking views. (The cart right on the edge of the cliff is a little scary, but maybe it belongs to a fisherman?)

  6. What an amazing thing to find at the end of a botanical garden, it's very strange to me. That's a rough sea. Gorgeous photos, the mist adds a touch of magic and mystery.
