Cancun: Enjoying the Beach

There is always a silver lining to every cloud. If the silver lining is 11 days on the beach in Cancun, you really wouldn't care what the cloud is right?

The stretch of white sand shimmers in the late afternoon giving it a pink hue, so beautiful.

I enjoyed the privacy.

The walk was always invigorating.

Along the beach there are many boats for hire.

Further along there was a little snack shop (there were a couple of sit-in restaurants too) that offers some nibbles and free wi-fi.

Friendly Adela is the owner's daughter.

Another friendly local waits for food crumbs under the table.

Walking to the opposite end of the beach this time. This area doesn't have any restaurants or tours.

In the distance, this must belong to one of the condos.

On this side of the beach which is towards the public beach, we saw locals fishing.

Looked like they were successful.

In the background is the Hotel Zone where majority of the hotels and resorts are located.

There was this one time when after the walk we decided to lay on the beach chair and enjoy the scenery. As I hit click on the shutter, a jogger passed by. I got photobombed :)
