On the Road: NV-AZ-UT

On the first full day of our Vegas vacation, we planned on a day trip to Zion National Park. We found out that from the Strip, the national park is only about 2.5 hours drive - easily doable. Afterall, we've done day trips farther than this.

This road trip stretched to three states: Nevada, Arizona, and Utah. Two and a half hours in the car, a coffee mug filled to the brim, camera with battery fully charged and an incredible landscape, all these conspired to produce the following drive by shots.

IMGP5034

To say this is a scenic route is an understatement.

More to come from this day trip.

  1. When you think about it, Maria, we all should be gobsmacked by what our country has to offer. No wonder so many of Astrid's Dutch friends at work choose to go on vacation there...and when they go, they drive around these places for hundreds of miles! The views really ARE spectacular.
