Malaga in Pictures 4
We arrived in the city center by bus, but we thought given the many people we see walking to the port plus the cruise ship is within sight we decided to give walking a try. Besides, we wanted to check out the beach and try one of the many restaurants that line the beach area.
A nice walking path or boardwalk.
Across the water from the boardwalk.
All the restaurants by the beach were jampacked, but we got lucky and found a table. The service was slow, understandably so given the many people waiting for food. In this trip, we tried the grilled squid and/or octopus wherever we went. This was good too.
After a lengthy and filling meal, we continued to the beach. I didn't realize until this time how big a resort town Malaga is, and of course was surprised to see the many cats sharing the beach with humans.
From the beeach we could spy our cruise ship. The town is walking distance/walkable from the port.
Wide sidewalk for walking.
This ends my visit to Malaga, Spain.

ReplyDeleteI am enjoying your series on Malaga. Amazing place and equally great captures of the yacht, the boardwalk and the beach.
ReplyDeleteMalaga is definitely a tourist destination for the Europeans who love the beach, Maria. It's probably the one reason why we don't have it on our Bucket List (yet?)...because we aren't beach people, per se (I have a history of skin cancer and need to be careful of sun exposure). But it sure is fun to see it all in your images. YAY.
ReplyDeletebeautiful cityscapes. Thanks for sharing :)
