2017: A Pictorial Review

2017 has been a challenging year, don't you agree? Despite all the natural disasters that befell mankind and all the man-made disasters (mass shootings, terror attacks), we managed to trudge through the year with an occasional smile on our faces.

These are a few moments of 2017 that brought a smile on my face.

It has been another memorable year. I traveled to Morocco for the first time, also a first joining a large tour group, that I enjoyed immensely. I didn't pass up the chance to return to Lisbon, which was a little hop and skip away from Morocco. Summer was the perfect time for a road trip. When kids went back to school, we took to the road and visited Oregon, Washington State and crossed the border to British Columbia. Fall took us to the mountains of Tahoe with a visit to Squaw Valley.

Another year of Skywatching is over. Cheers to more skywatching in 2018.

  4. Happy New Year Maria! Love the year-end review -- that is one of the big reasons why we photo-blog, to remember the things we smiled about. Love all your pictures, but the one that makes me laugh out loud in wonder is the goats in the tree!

  5. Multnomah Falls looks breath taking... not that other places are not beautiful... they are also equally beautiful.
