"WELCOME" To My World


Among the many things I collect photos of, signs and signage are still up there among the favorites. Who can resist them? Not I. Last summer's trip across the border to Canada where I photographed a Welcome to USA sign got me thinking how many welcome signs have I photographed over the years? So I went back to my albums and picked a few that I really liked.

    So many from which to choose: I like the Welcome to Carson Valley, the Arizona state line, and "life elevated" line on the Welcome to Utah sign!

    I've seen some of these signs. A couple of weeks ago I got to see assorted welcome signs for Japan and South Korea!

    What a great idea for a photo theme! I have some photos of funny signs, but I've never thought to photograph signs of places like you have. Wonderful post!
