ROADTRIP TO YELLOWSTONE: DAY 2, ON TO YELLOWSTONE

After the visit to Mormon Row, back to Grand Teton NP we went so that we could go to Yellowstone that way. The drive along the way was fascinating with picturesque scenery along the way. I cannot believe the beauty of this spot on earth.

Before leaving Grand Teton we had a bear sighting on the side of the road.

In Yellowstone, we arrived via the South Entrance. We passed by Lewis Lake and took photos of the waterfalls.

From here we aimed to go straight to Old Faithful. However, along the way we encountered Narnia-like conditions. I was so enchanted by the falling snow that we stopped at a small turnout to take photos.

Another pleasant surprise along the way is the stop for Continental Divide, where we not only took photos for also took a little breather. It was such a beautiful day despite the chill in the air.

When we got back in the car, it was straight to Old Faithful Geyser (coming next post.)

  6. The picture with the bridge reminds me of a spot I fished with my father. Yellowstone was the last place I went camping with my parents. It was the summer after I graduated from high school. - Margy
