Maui Day 3: Road To Hana, part 1
The Road To Hana we learned later on was an enterprise best tackled for a duration of a few days, 2 at least. However, we only had one day to devote to it, and so we tried to do as much as we could given our time limitations.
This is my Road To Hana photo album:
A long line of cars parked on the side of the street, no marker, but we followed the crowd through this bamboo forest.
The path is muddy.
Then cross the river with slippery rocks.
To reach this beautiful waterfalls, one of many along the way.
Someone was doing a photo shoot.
On to another stop.
And we stopped any time we wanted to just to photograph something. The entire route is chock full of incredible things to look at.

Dang, I wish I would have had that app when we drove the road! I'm sure we missed a lot. I just remember so much beauty, but also a stressful drive crossing over all the little bridges that only accommodate one car at a time.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos. It was quite the interesting hike to get to the refreshing waterfall
ReplyDeleteGreat shots of the waterfall!
ReplyDeleteHello, beautiful waterfalls and images. I liked the trail through the bamboo, it was so tall. I remember the Road to Hana very well, we did that drive 3 times we were in Maui! Enjoy your day, wishing you a great weekend!
