In Bloom

Paging blogging botanists, can you help me identify this plant? I have always loved it and bought it but somehow, I dont know its name. With or without a name, it doesnt affect its presence in the garden.

Last year, I found these amaryllis growing abundantly at the park where I walk. Been walking there for years and I have never seen them before. They are not there this year either.

Mom's clematis bring us joy summer after summer after summer.

Take Me Out To the Theme Park

I was taking a pic of Journey to Atlantis. Little did I know that the result was better than I intended it to be. Now the ride has become just a background to this family who it seems is ready to enjoy the splash of the ride. Sea World, San Diego, November 2004.

Park Bench #1

"The best remedy for those who are afraid, lonely or unhappy is to go outside, somewhere where they can be quiet, alone with the heavens, nature and God. Because only then does one feel that all is as it should be and that God wishes to see people happy, amidst the simple beauty of nature."
Anne Frank
