Amateur photog's online photo cache. All photos are original pics taken by author and her husband. This is not a place to see those awe inspiring Ansel Adams, these are ordinary subjects shot on a whim most of the time.
It was a respectable 48F when I snapped this in Lake Tahoe. From a distance I spotted a single soul soaking up the sun. I did not stay long to see if he was actually waiting for someone.
And re Calamay: If you want you will be able to bring some to US, you just have to pack it with old newspapers and sealed by tapes and place it in your baggage for check-in. That's what family and friends do. Of course you have to buy the ones in plastic containers coz the ones in coconut shells are way too heavy. Have you ever tasted it? I'll have to show how it looks inside the shell on my next post I guess.
Just enjoying some peace & quiet I would say :-) Great to see your pics of the NY cemetary. I was there almost exactly a year ago and I loved the quiteness there too. Did you see the timecapsule to be opened only in the 2090's ? Quite intriguing I thought :-) And I see the trees were blossoming, what an awesome sight.
Thanks for taking me back to the beautiful Lake Tahoe. I like the dreamy tone.

Nice shot. I would have thought he was like me, just chillin', soaking up some sun, enjoying the view and letting my thoughts go where they may. :-)
He's enjoying it anyway. Great shot
