Photo Hunt #59: Player's Choice

IMG_0117, originally uploaded by M'roy.

I find it's easier to post when there is a theme than when it's my choice. It took me longer to come up with what to post today than in any other Fridays past.

So my choice today is girl friends. I miss them. A lot.

Up until the last minute I had no clue what to post but then I got this message that my gal pal who I roomed with for a year in college just became my friend on facebook. Slowly but surely my high school pals are congregating on facebook. You see when we were going to high school there were no internet so some of our friends have a slower time to adjust and accept this new medium.

Anyway, here's my photo of a friendship. Are they the Asian version of Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte and Samantha?

I agree with you: without instructions for the photo hunt, the decision-making was much harder!!

Beautiful young ladies, lovely choice of yours!!
Happy PH and happy weekend!
(I love fb, it enables contact with dear friends who are far away!)

Love your choice and it makes me smile to think of you as the SATC girls! Glad you are reconnecting with your old friends.

I agree, free theme week is harder. It took me longer than usual too.

Oh well, it takes a long time to grow old friends and even when you lost touch of them and get reunited, friendship would still be the commonest thing of all. Which one are you? BTW, my post today is a painting.

Nice choice. I would love to attend an Indian wedding. My colleagues would show me pix of their wedding/ceremonies and they're grand.

I miss the happy and sad moments I spent with my girlfriends. Many have emigrated and we have lost contact. :(

Wonderful choice of subject! The free choice theme has a way of showing others what's very important to you.

A very colourful picture and great joice of subject!

Ginnie said...

What's so strange about this, Maria, is that just this past week my class of '63 just started a Facebook account before our 50th reunion. How coincidental is that! I've been catching up on some of my classmates over the weekend!

I love this shot. Although I didn't do photohunters this past weekend, it's fun seeing what others came up with.
