My Garden in My World

It never ceases to amaze me how my garden blooms despite the neglect. I am not the most prolific gardener; heck I cannot even call myself a gardener. The garden including all the fruit trees and rose bushes came with the house when we moved in 4 years ago. We have made little changes, mostly adding a few more rose bushes, lavender, silk tree, and other flowering shrubs. Other than that the garden remained as it is. There is a huge amount of work needed to make this garden in tiptop shape. We hope we can find more time to devote in making it the way I imagine my garden to be.

In the meantime, I have taken photos of some of the blooms in spring and summer. I wish I had taken more photos.

We have many geraniums. It's a constant source of battle between the hub and I. I wanted them out and he wanted to keep them. Even though I harp about taking them out and replacing them with something else, I must admit that they are prolific and the blooms are showy. Since they are still here, you must have known that I was overruled in my desire to take them out.

  1. Wonderful shots! You're lucky your garden still thrives without you having to focus on it. Whenever I neglect my yard, it starts looking like a jungle. No blooms unfortunately.
