Cancun: Sunrise over the Caribbean
Nah, the husband did. I'm sharing these photos that my sweetie took while I was enjoying extra snooze time. Nothing like watching the sun rise over the water's edge, he said. I only got to enjoy the sunrise via his shots.
Here they are straight from that precious balcony.

You and I are similar in this way, Maria. I need my sleep and don't do well if I don't get it. But one day I will get up early enough to get some splendid sunrises like this, I promise. HA! Tell Hubby he did good! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat stunning shots.
ReplyDeleteThese are fine sunrise shots. I especially like the zoomed in examples. Thanks for the invitation to Skywatch. When I have an image that looks appropriate on a Thursday, I'll check in.
ReplyDeleteAn awesome way to begin any day!! Glorious skies and colors and terrific captures!! Have a great weekend!!
ReplyDeleteI can picture myself lost in the beauty of this scenery.
ReplyDeleteI wish you a happy weekend!

Wow, these are stunning shots.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful promise of a perfect day ahead
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sunrise shots!
ReplyDeleteI was on a cruise ship two years ago, and I made sure I woke up early to catch some, but it rains on most days!

Your husband did a fine job for you. I would have been in bed, too. I would try to get up at least one morning when we used to go to the beach with the kids in the summer, but I, too, mooted depended on Bud as he was up and running at daybreak. These are so pretty.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great view. Sorry, you missed it, but glad your hubby let us all enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteOh what a beautiful place to be enjoying a vacation, gorgeous Sunrise your Sweetie achieved. Perfect balcony view.
ReplyDeleteTreat yourself one morning to a Sunrise. It's not just the beautiful scenes created by the emerging Sun's Light, like those in the photos, but there's also the freshness of morning air, the beginning of bird songs, and feeling the day awakening.
Thanks very much for your Visit.
Lovely sunrise!
ReplyDeleteLooking at your photos:
ReplyDeleteI can almost hear the ocean breezes. I can almost smell the sweet island fragances.
What a place!
I'll trade you Illinois for Cancun? I know NO DEAL!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I never get any sunrise photos, either - just so hard to get up and out THAT early, LOL. My WW
ReplyDeleteLOL, I have the same problem!
ReplyDeleteThese photos are just lovely. Please thank your hubby dear for us. :)
Beautiful photos, how thoughtful of him to take the photos for you to enjoy later, looks like a fabulous holiday destination
ReplyDeleteLovely morning sky! Your husband captured the sunrise beautifully. Lucky you, you got to sleep in and still enjoy the sunrise:)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I'm like you though...Rarely catch those sunrises.
