A Little Las Vegas
Surprisingly I only took a handful of shots, mostly while we were driving out of the city. I did catch beautiful sky though.
We stayed at Exalibur on the Strip.
It's an older hotel and its age is showing, but it was clean and comfortable. This was my view from my room.
On the day we drove to Zion, the sky in Vegas was simply lovely.
After dinner one night we window shopped at the Miracle Mile shops, walked the Strip a bit, and went to see the aquarium at Treasure Island.
And into the night, we took pictures of what Vegas makes Vegas.
Home for the night.

ReplyDeleteNice shots although the Sphynx looks surprised to find itself there.
ReplyDeleteSuperb shots of the city. Very colorful.
ReplyDeleteI dream of going to that place. My mom and kuya went there at tallagang nang-iggit haha. I love your shots and the 2nd one with windows full of character is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures of what we used to call Disneyland for grownups. Your night shots are excellent! I've never figured out how to do that well at all.)

It looks like you saw plenty in Vegas.
ReplyDeleteI love Las Vegas. It's been years since I've been able to visit. - Margy
ReplyDeleteNice shots - Vegas is certainly a fun place to wander around and photograph.
ReplyDeleteI've only been to Vegas once, Maria, and that was when I was pregnant with Amy back in 1972. I had morning sickness the entire time but we had free lodging and used it as our jump-off to go to the sites around, like Hoover Dam, the Grand Canyon, etc. If I ever go back, I'm sure I'll be short of eyes. The thing is, however, that you see so much of it already because of all the movies or TV shows filmed there. I'll probably just take your word for it via your own wonderful images! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat shot of the windows! I don't blame you for not seeing much of LV if you have the Zion park. I would much prefer the latter as well.
ReplyDeleteI really like the second pic!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your kind comments on my post and thanks for sharing your great collection of Vegas photos, I agree the great outdoors provides lots of natural entertainment
ReplyDeleteThose were beautiful shots! And now I know what you were talking about on my Venetian Macau post. The Venetian - Vegas is more beautiful! :)
ReplyDeleteIt's fantasy land! Fun to photograph though. We stayed in the Excaliber Hotel with my son when he was young. Las Vegas is ever changing!
ReplyDeleteHi Maria, I don't blame you for seeing less of LV during the day. It's smart of your to head our to nature during the day. I would have done the same. But you captured great images of LV at its best - at night. Love your sky shots though.
