The regular readers of this blog must be thinking more Xcaret? What more can this woman show? Well, there's more. Aside from all the water activities that are available and all the nature viewing, there were also performances. One that we went to watch was the Mayan performance. I cannot recall what exactly it was, whether it was a celebration or other sort of ceremony. Curiosly too, this show was slated at 3 pm, the height of heat and humidity. Nevertheless, the show was a hit.

Hmmm, somehow i felt like this is so much staged. Do the Mayans really stayed there longer than in the other parts of Peru?
ReplyDelete@Kalantikan, I don't believe that the Mayans reached Peru (pls correct if I'm wrong). The Incas were the ones in Peru.

ReplyDeleteThere is s much to see and do in Xcaret. I totally get why you ended up with many photos and videos. I didn't have the opportunity to see this performance. Looks interesting. I did see how the Mayans play (or played) their ball game.
