San Francisco: Madame Tussaud's


Last Monday, the husband and I took a day off. Our schedules have been quite hectic the past several months (as you can the amount of posts I have here on this blog) so we needed a day to just relax. A dear friend gifted us a voucher for Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum in San Francisco, and this would be the perfect time to visit the museum for the very first time. Now I see why the wax museum is very popular spot all over the world.

It's nice to finally get to see the wax figures. The craftsmanship is superb, the details are meticulously copied, so very life like.

    Thanks for the tour. ..we’ve always passed these by as tourist traps...maybe we’ve been wrong all these years! Some of the figures are better than others, but all interesting.

    I find it strange that Mark Zuckerberg is barefoot. But I never liked was museums, the wax figures creep me out. hehe

    The craftsmanship is amazing, is it not?
    I have been to the one in LA. I would love to visit the Madame Tussauds in SF. Btw, it's nice to see some Bay Area people in wax, here. :)

    Always fun to visit wax museums. Some of the figures are amazing in their verisimilitude, others are far from successful (that must be the worse Elvis wax figure I've seen ;-)
