Ireland: Day 7 (Dublin)
Once we found the bus stop, it did not take long for the bus to arrive. The bus was running with only a handful of tourists. Despite the cold weather and the icy breeze, we chose to sit on top of the double-decker bus. It was sunny, but did not emit enough warmth to the body.
As with any HOHO bus tour, we wanted to see all the sights from the bus first so that we know what sights we really wanted to explore. Although here in Dublin, we pretty much know which places we wanted to explore - Trinity College for the Book of Kells exhibit and Guinness Factory.
Here are some of the photos we captured from the moving bus.
A few shots from River Liffey.
The bus also went to Phoenix Park.

Beautiful photos! Looks cold there. I'd love to visit Ireland again.
ReplyDeleteOh this brought back so many memories! I lived in Dublin for 9 months 11 years ago, it's an amazing city :)
ReplyDeleteNever been on the Hop on Hop off bus but after seeing your photos I now want to try it. Looks like a fun time to see the highlights of the big city and places you want to go and visit another day. Glad you had fun on your trip to Ireland. I've enjoyed all your photos.
ReplyDeleteGreat images, lovely city but I think it would feel a bit claustrophobic to me, too many buildings packed close together
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos! It was unseasonably warm when we were there in June and of course our hotel had no air conditioning, only fans. We enjoyed our visit though and saw most of those same sights. We also spent one morning shopping on Grafton Street and then toured the Jameson Distillery. I would love to go back.
ReplyDeleteWhat an interesting mix of old and new! I've never been to Ireland, but your photos make me want to visit. Pretty sky shots, too!
ReplyDeleteFascinating city scapes
ReplyDeleteHOHO buses are the best ways to see any city in the world ! I always make it a point to go on one unless I have a local friend to take me around . Ireland is on my list of one of the places to visit before I die and your photos make Dublin seem even more enthralling
ReplyDeleteYour photos are just so good!!
ReplyDeleteGreat shots
ReplyDeleteLovely . Please tell something about my capture on my blog.
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a wonderful time in Dublin. We visited County Mayo where my husband's great grandmother was born and raised. We didn't have enough time to visit Dublin. Enjoyed the cyber tour of Dublin. Perhaps we will get to travel there someday.
ReplyDeleteThats a lot of Dublin. Nice to see.
