ReplyDeleteI've learned about Rodin during Art History Class during college. One of my favourite sculptures during the renaissance era. I'm amazed with his mastery of human figure they look so alive and truly captures a living motion.
ReplyDeleteThe Kiss is so sensual in a bittersweet sort of way. The Clenched Hand is a bit scary. :-)
ReplyDeleteblog brothers/sisters...i always thought that the thinker was perfect in my very limited art knowledge and a visit to this museum has given me a better perspective of the details, soul, humanity, and yes art in these sculptures...yes i agree that there is more to rodin than the thinker
