Trishaw
I was unable to capture one in action. Here in the middle of the day, I found them waiting for passengers. It's a pity the sun was really bearing down on us that day that it was advisable to stay indoors. They are beautifully decorated. I believe every country has a version of it. Rickshaw to Bangladesh, trishaw to both Malaysia and Singapore, and pedicab to the Philippines.
Tuktuk too =) but this one is heavily decorated with flowers...its like riding it on a parade hehe.
ReplyDeletevery colorful shot! very nice!
ReplyDeleteOh, I use to love going on rickshaw rides with my dad, when I was a kid living in Singapore. :)
ReplyDeleteEvery Asian country must have its own version given our narrow streets and the culture. Very nice picture. Quite colorful too. :)
ReplyDeletehey, a Trishaw... WOW, they really go all out in decorating, don't they..... very pretty tho...
ReplyDeletei am familiar with Rickshaw.... in Montreal you would take a ride on a horse and buggy known as a caliche...
an interesting series cache... was this a recent visit?
Nice and colorful photo!
ReplyDeleteVery colorful pictures, the place looks very attractive to visit. Here in Mexico City there are some simpler versions of these vehicles for short distances in the Historic Centre.
ReplyDeleteThat trishaw is well decorated with lovely flowers. Amazing how much effort is put in making it look pleasing to the eyes.
