Sky Watch #12
Summer fun about to cut short as fog starts to roll in from the background. The blue skies has turned grayish and pretty soon it would be too cold to dip one's toes in the water.
Life has gotten too busy that I have completely forgot that today is the anniversary of that vicious attack on American soil. I join the world in pausing for a brief moment to say a prayer to those who lost their lives and for those they left behind.
My SW is grey today, too. But I don't have tha beautifl blue water in mine. Beautiful photo, and I pause, too.
ReplyDeletemay they rest in peace!
ReplyDeleteA very nice photo, I really like the colors, thanks for stopping by.
ReplyDeleteGreat statement about 9/11. What a tragic day that was... I enjoy your shot. Interesting the way the fog is rolling in...
ReplyDeletePC: What a great capture at the end of the day at the beach.
ReplyDeleteYour photos are very clear and inviting to take a swim! Well I'll wait till next year!. Thanks for your visit and yes you're welcome to have a cuppa!
ReplyDeletePeople still seem to enjoy themselves. You're lucky where you are - summer's been and gone and we hardly felt it!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting Norwich Daily Photo and leaving your kind comments.

ReplyDeleteLove how the water becomes the sky - or is it the sky becomes the water? Very cool shot. And sobering remembrance.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo!
ReplyDeleteTouching words and tribute! All the World must never forget!
Neat post for Sky Watch Friday. It looks almost like a postal card.
ReplyDeleteMy Sky Watch Friday blog is at my Canon Pixels blog. If you have time I would appreciate your having a look at the sky peeking through the oak tree leaves.

So very very sad.
lovely coastline
ReplyDeletei cannot imagine a day in my town when fog overtakes a summer's day and stops people from enjoying the sea, so this is quite an interesting concept for me!
The colors in this make it look like a painting. What a pretty scene...
ReplyDeleteThe motion and the colors of the waves on the shore are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteA very beautiful scene! Definitely postcard quality!
ReplyDeleteSummer fun is the perfect title for that shot. It has a painting like quality to it which I like a great deal.

This is a beautiful beach scene, the colours are so strong, it is different. It really looks more like a painting; that was perhaps your aim!
ReplyDeleteThe colour of the water is almost the same as the colour of the sky. Amazing photo. Just love the colours and the way the wavelets are "shaped". Happy skywatching:-)
ReplyDeleteBeautifully crisp yet moody photograph. Lovely sea side snap too.
ReplyDeleteOooouuie, your beach is prettier than the sky. Happy SkyWatching and thanks for your visit and nice commnent.
ReplyDelete..
Love the water, the people having fun. It's a painful day; good to combine beautiful thoughts and people at the beach with the sobriety and mourning of 9-11.
ReplyDeleteThis is one beautiful summer shot though it somehow getting cold in here too but then not as cold as what you have there! I join you in remembering the victims of the 9/11 attack. I just remembered about it awhile ago when I saw live that breaking news on TV showing the plane crashing on the twin towers!
ReplyDeleteAwesome...I think the water is cooler than the sky, though!
ReplyDeleteI love the beach and this is a great photo...Happy SWF
