Green Symmetry
A view from a little higher. From fall of 2007 in Sonoma County. This was at about the same time last year and some have just started to turn yellow.
Don, here's a little shot of grape leaves turning red. It was my November 23, 2007 post. It was shot from a distance so it's not as clear. I will see if I have a one in the archives that show they become red too.
I love this shot from above. You can see the rows so clearly.
ReplyDeleteDid you stay in Sonoma? You lucky you! Beautiful shot!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting Norwich Daily Photo and leaving your comments.

Joy---Sonoma and Napa are just 20-25 mi away from where we live; SF is the same on the opposite direction.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful landscape!
ReplyDeleteWhat an absolutely amazing scene. The colors, the rows of vines, the building, the hills in the background. Spectacular!!
ReplyDeleteI can imagine how nice it will be to walk through the grape vines when they're in full harvest :)
ReplyDeletenice emphasis on lines and symmetry. it's like a painting really. nicely executed.
ReplyDeleteLove the leading lines!
ReplyDeleteThe hills look like a painting. brilliant.
ReplyDeleteWow... lovely landscapes with the nearby hills...
ReplyDeleteamazing shots. i would just love to stroll over there and just be awed by the beauty of the place. great job.
ReplyDeleteCries! That is the sight I've been dying to see and capture during my trip but the farms I went to were a let down! =( Congrats for managing to capture such awe-inspiring photo!
ReplyDeleteThanks for dropping by my blog too, I agree that is a gourd. =D
Perfect shot.... Hope to see you around at my corner too... Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteI like this series of posts you have done...I really like this picture and the one below.
ReplyDeleteWow, that's an amazing shot! It's a mesmerizing landscape.
ReplyDeleteBTW, I have an award for you. Sorry I wasn't able to tell you sooner.
ReplyDeleteI like this "high" view and the way the rows lead down into the picture. Very pretty shot. Thanks for the link to the red grapes. I appreciate getting to see your shot.
ReplyDeleteIt reminds me of the winery we visited in Israel. Also rolling hills in the distance, but not as green, more brown (it was June, and it doesn't rain there all summer). Lovely photo.
ReplyDeleteLove the symmetry of this shot.
ReplyDeleteWell done.
I like the SWF shot above also.
Thanks for the visit,
