Oh What A Tree
I was inspired to tweak this photo one night when there was nothing better to do. I liked the result. Most of the photos I post here have very little processing, most are just sharpened a bit, or clarified, or gamma was reduced.
Amateur photog's online photo cache. All photos are original pics taken by author and her husband. This is not a place to see those awe inspiring Ansel Adams, these are ordinary subjects shot on a whim most of the time.
Oh what a tree indeed! That is wonderful. I like the effects a lot on this one.
ReplyDeleteI love trees, each one is very complex and most of time beautiful !
ReplyDeleteI had nothing else to do, I wished I had the same, Maria this is just wonderful, almost 3D.
ReplyDeleteLove it.
A little bit of tweaking never hurt anyone, Ha ha
ReplyDeleteGreat results. I love trees, those limb like branches are so expressive, and this handsome fella is no exception. If we could but hear him talk, the glorious tales he could tell us.
A terricic image
@Carver---I did enjoy the effects too. Unfortunately, I can't remember the series of steps I took to come up with this end product :)
ReplyDelete@Zeb--Same here. I have not seen a tree that I did not love.
@Astrid---Nothing else to do :D that's coz I've been living the old lady life lately.
@Paul---I think you were my inspirations on tweaking. Didn't you use to do just a tad of tweaking that made your photos oh so good.
I agree with you that the relief filter works with this scene. Nice one.
ReplyDeleteOh what a tree indeed. Seems like I can touch it through my monitor. Cool tweaking.
ReplyDeleteHa wish I had nothing to do!!!
ReplyDeleteI have been laid up with a cold for the past two weeks and man I hate being ill.
Love your processing Maria very nice:)
Beautiful and creative work!
ReplyDeleteYour SkyWatch contribution is fabulous, as are all your photos here. Great work, congratulations!
Thank you for your kind comment on my blog. :-)
Very good special effects!
ReplyDelete@Louis---Just got lucky here.
ReplyDelete@Lizza---Thought my pics could use a little pick me up or a kick up a notch :)
@Tracy---You are jealous of my pathetic nonexistent social life situation???? Laid up? Thought you were partying up a storm despite being ill?
@Merisi---Thanks for the visit. I dropped by yours and I enjoyed all your photos.
Sometimes you just have to play around, Mroy!!! :) Good for you.
ReplyDelete@Dennis---still practicing :)
ReplyDelete@Ginnie---well said, and i will listen to those who know better.
That's a really nice engraved look
ReplyDeleteNicely done...very artistic.
ReplyDeletethis one is tweaked very well. it now looks more like a solid metal-styled painting.
ReplyDeleteyou deserve a clap here.
I like the effect on this photo. It brought out the density of the trees.
ReplyDeleteI'm so jealous! I can't wait to have coconuts. We don't get them here.
Thanks for visiting Norwich Daily Photo and leaving your comments.
