Photo Hunt #18: Breakfast

IMG_0009, originally uploaded by airam94564.

Crab for breakfast? Must be crab season in the bay. This poor crab got caught in our net and he's too small to clear the size requirements we were going to throw him back in the bay. But as you can see a hungry stomach cannot be denied. He snatched the poor crab and ran away. I ran after him, not to retrieve the crab, but to take a photo. Little did I know, this one's a photo hunt entry. Lucky me.

As for me, this is what I want for breakfast (even lunch and dinner), but my husband won't let me.

Happy photo hunting every one. Happy weekend.

  7. It beats me why you would want seagull for all 3 meals a day. I think your guy is just protecting you from a bad experience :-)

    Great skywatch pic you have.

  9. That's a great shot and perfect for the theme too.

You asked about whether blueberries were plentiful in my area. There are quite a lot of growers but they are pretty expensive. Fresh ones where I live are usually harvested around July (a little earlier in the eastern part of my state) and by August they are pretty much done. I've been lucky to have blueberry bushes that I could pick from at home since they are expensive. Sad that after 20 years they were severely damaged by drought but I did get 20 years of harvests from them so I guess I'm lucky.
