Photo Hunt #22: Hope
I hope there is still hope left for all those who lost their hopes and dreams in the past year.
New year brings new beginnings and hopefully a brand new set of hopes.
Happy New Year.
Amateur photog's online photo cache. All photos are original pics taken by author and her husband. This is not a place to see those awe inspiring Ansel Adams, these are ordinary subjects shot on a whim most of the time.
That's a good idea for the theme. I am also hopeful and feel so bad for those who have lost their homes and jobs. There is hope with a lot of changes ahead which will hopefully be very good ones for everyone.
ReplyDeleteOne can only hope. :)

ReplyDeleteI hope those people are selling because they have been transferred and not because of lost hopes.
ReplyDeleteGood idea for the theme.

True. I sure hope that the family who's selling this house would be able to start anew somewhere with the money they'll get from its sale.

Great sentiment I hope the same for those out there....
ReplyDeleteThe realtor sign is ironic in a way. Especially if it is a case of "has to sell". Hope against hope, or real Hope?
ReplyDeleteDef: hope against hope, to continue to hope, although the outlook does not warrant it
Def: Hope. The theological virtue defined as the desire and search for a future good, difficult but not impossible to attain with God's help.
and just for good measure:
Def: hope, to look forward to with desire and reasonable confidence.
I find your picture a great comment on the times that has come about the last few months.
