What I Learned From Visiting A Zoo

First of all this photo is very old, taken November 2003, San Diego Zoo.

These are not just pigs. These are Visayan Pigs. I bet you didn't know that! For my fellow Filipinos, here's the Wiki link here, go click it and learn about them.

This was the most pleasant surprise I got from a place filled with awesome creatures.

BTW, I have mixed feelings about posting random shots daily. I kinda miss running a series. I am going to spend more time choosing what photos I'd share from my February trip so that I can run that series sooner than I planned.

    Wow, I've never seen a pig like this before, even my long stay in the visayas. These pigs have very long snouts.

    Oh, I visited the link you gave and found that these are almost extinct already. Sad. I hope they can find a way to keep the population growing.

    Interesting visit again. The Yosimite and the pigs caught my eye.

    Yes you do a series again. I found it helps to oreder my thinking towards the eventual presentation.

    Interesting. I've never seen pigs like that. The only 'odd' pigs that I found so far were those in Davao.

    San Diego has the visayan pig, i wonder if there are a few left in Visayas?
