Sky Watch #39
On Black Saturday, we were invited to a Sikh prayer offering in a Sikh temple in Silicon Valley. The weather was glorious and spring like in the low 60s, the sun was out, and everything is blooming and the hills along highway 680 are green.
I took these photos on the drive back home. I was reminded that my recent Skywatch entry was similar, green hills and blue skies. Please pardon the repetition. You see out here in my world, the rolling green hills don't stay long. Before we know it, we have wonderful rolling brown hills. So I'm enjoying all the green before they're gone.
Oh no, I think I see the beginning of the browning of the hills. Anyway, I hope you all have a wonderful Spring and a restful weekend.
Look at that!!! It looks like a child scribbled in the sky with a white crayon! How incredible with the mere wisps of cloud. Love the rolling hills of the valley. Sounds like an interesting invite.
ReplyDeleteOooh, I was first (and second... now)
ReplyDeletethe photos are like little paradise, quiet; good to roll and my cats would love to hop and run and climb trees.
ReplyDeleteI love the only three colors that I see here: green, blue and some white. Perfect!
ReplyDeleteOh wow! Definitely may favourites this week. Fabulous.

I know the plant your talkin about. I don't know the name but it's definitely not forsythia. Have to ask my mother. She knows all plants.
Fab green hills and that blue sky with the wispy clouds is magical.
ReplyDeletePerfect green hills with a fabulous sky. You could always come for holidays in England once your hills have turned brown...don't expect blue sky like the one in your photos, though :)
ReplyDeleteNapakanta ka ba ng 'the hill are alive'? It is indeed beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting Norwich Daily Photo and leaving your comment. Come back tomorrow!

We can never see to many green rolling hills, blue skies, or white clouds. Very nice.
ReplyDeleteI am minding this a bit; I don't think I could get tired of all that green and blue. Lovely! You need a lawn chair and a cold drink.
ReplyDeleteEven the clouds look rather like a prayer etched into the wind and blue!
ReplyDeletesuch a blue sky, so pretty,

ReplyDeleteBeautiful skies over your rolling green hills. Hope you get enough rainfall to keep those hills mostly green for awhile.
Inspiring View!
ReplyDeleteid like to think id go up those hills and roll down in coming back. The green looks so spring.
May you have a nice week-end!

Visit my Sky Watch Friday.
These photos say "California". I too love our rolling, oak studded green hills.
ReplyDeleteThey're beautiful photos. The colors are so rich. Your hills remind me of the ones here in Southern California when you get on the open road. Beautiful when they're green but when they turn brown they're fire hazards until the next rains fall... if it rains.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful rolling hills and contrasts. Very reminiscent of England.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful rolling hills under your blue sky and wispy clouds!
ReplyDeleteRepetition perhaps, but beautiful repetition.
ReplyDeleteIs it just me or do I see pi in the sky? The clouds do resemble chalk marks on a blueboard. School is in session!
I am enthralled with blue skies and rolling green hills right now because we have neither. Bring it on!
