I think scenic and Grand Canyon are synonymous. SCENIC SUNDAY is a weekly meme. To participate or simply to gawk at all the other scenic scenes, click here.
The Grand Canyon is very close to where my photos were taken at Hoover Dam! Beautiful photo!
I agree with you, scenic and breath taking too. I would never get tired of going there. I wish it is just a short drive from here.
That's what put the 'awe' in awesome.
Second the motion!!!! Someone from there sent me a placemat of it and it's so gorgeous!
A great reminder of my trip there in 2006!
Wow. Excellents shot - I like how the closest face (I'm sure there's a better word) is snowy and has pines growing on it-not what I'd ever thought the Grand Canyon was like! Someday I'll need to go and see for myself.
Great view with great photo. My sweetie loved to climb this peak mountain. Thanks for sharing...
this photo is panoramic for me, i am wondering, are you at the top of the mountain or in helicopter to be able to capture this great scenery? (just curious)
I would never get tired either of going to the Grand Canyon. Would love to get to go some day.
I flew over the Grand cayon as a child on a plane. Thanks for the photo!

stunning to see some snow there. ive never seen it that way.
Yes...very scenic! The Grand Canyon can be so difficult to capture in a photo. Yours is perfect. You have excellent lighting and composition and the dusting of snow really enhances the layering.
Grand Canyon and snow - that heightens the effect! Beautiful!
Wow, the Grand Canyon is already so beautiful, but the snow makes it even more amazing.
One day I'd LOVE to see the snow there, Maria. You were lucky!
How could anyone tire of this beautiful scenery? I'm enjoying the GCNP through your lens.
I would love to see this in person someday. It's mesmerizing.
