Photo Hunt #52: Surprise
You must be asking what does a bloom from a succulent had to do with the theme, right? Okay here goes the story:
Most of the images I feature here are SOOC (straight out of camera). And sometimes I crop a bit, or auto fix a bit. Shame on me and my three or four photo editing software (none of them was a PhotoShop) for not utilizing them.
So one day, I got this totally washed out image of a succulent that I was going to delete because it was completely crappy. But before I hit delete, I thought I'd use it as a guinea pig to test the buttons on my software. And just when I decided to remove almost all the gamma, this was the result. Boy was I surprised! I loved how dramatic it turned out. Not only did I not delete the image, I showcased it for photo hunt theme of surprise.
