Voted One of the Best
Capitola was named one of the 20 Best Small Towns by Sunset Magazine (March 2009).
The surfing images I have featured on this blog so far were all taken from Capitola.
Amateur photog's online photo cache. All photos are original pics taken by author and her husband. This is not a place to see those awe inspiring Ansel Adams, these are ordinary subjects shot on a whim most of the time.
A scene like this always reminds me of California. I've been to Santa Cruz during a sidetrip from SF several years ago and I'm impressed with the community's affection for the beach. I'm sure, residents of Capitola must be doubly proud of their beach and their town now that they've made it to the list of best small towns.
ReplyDeleteThe water looks exciting, especially the splash on the lower left against the rocks. Such a pretty town - must be nice to own one of those homes.
