I noticed that my walks during the spring have a different tone or mood than the walks I take during the fall. In the fall, my walks are more meditative, more subdued, more relaxed.
i like the angle and the perspective created by the bridge ... very befitting to the reflective mood you're invoking.

i still need to make the time to take one of those walks - quiet and meditative.

fall to me is a more meditative season because you seem to feel that it's sunset, night time being winter :)
