Photo Hunt #58: Sports
My favorite sport is baseball. I don't get to go to many games; as a matter of fact I try to go just once a year. And when I go I make sure to go early. Aside from avoiding the traffic, coming early would enable me to watch the players warm up.
Coming early would give me a chance to walk around the ballpark snapping photos inside....
and the beautiful sights outside.....
and to make sure I get my fave ball park eats which is the CHA CHA BOWL, from Orlando's Carribean BBQ. Orlando of course is former Giants great Orlando Cepeda. If you can't come to the Giants ballpark, I found a recipe from foodnetwork online, here, try it.
Of course the experience wouldn't be complete without the hotdog. For more ballpark treats, check this link.
Take time to browse thru the merchandise.
And once you're seated, make sure you keep an eye on the peanut guy.
Keep an eye on a foul ball that lands in your section, too bad this one is a few rows away from my seat.
And the experience would be a lot sweeter if the home team pulls a win in the bottom of the 9th.
Photos are from two different games.

And by the way, it's my 800th post. Yay!

ReplyDeleteCongrats on your 800th! post. Great shots of the ball game, go Giants.
ReplyDeleteWow! There's nothing like baseball, is there? It's not just a sport, it's a culture.
ReplyDeleteI have yet to go to a game at AT&T Park even though I've been to many A's games. Great season for the Giants. Would've been even sweeter if they made the playoffs, but the Rockies were too good down the stretch.
ReplyDeleteOh, I love that you're taken us to the game! What a great set of picks and perfect for The Hunt! Have only been to one professional baseball game but am a fan anyway. Thanks for sharing the experience with us!
ReplyDeletenice ballpark. The best way to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon ! Hope the price of hot dogs and beer are reasonable coz in some ballparks they're diabolical :(
ReplyDeleteWas it the peanut or the guy? Just kidding. 800 posts and still counting, yehey!
ReplyDeleteWow lots of action!
ReplyDeleteThis is my first time joining photo hunt, hope you can take a peek on my Athlete Spirit entry
I know you had your eye on that peanut guy, Maria. :D I love baseball, too, and one game a year at the ballpark fills the urge. The rest of the time I prefer watching on TV so that I can actually watch the game. HA!
ReplyDeletenice. if it's basketball and boxing here, there it's baseball. it reminded me of my own experience playing baseball when i was in elementary. one of the best games we've played during that time.
